Oredev 2011
I'm very excited right now as I've just signed up for Oredev 2011!
Oredev is the Premier developer's conference in Europe focused on the whole software development process. Oredev means Quantity and Quality, bringing the best speakers on subjects such as Java, .Net, Project Management, Web development and Testing. We cover the topics you are working with today as well as the ones you will be using tomorrow!
I've heard a few reviews of previous years and it looks like a really cool event, so I'm hoping this year is even better. This will be my first conference, so I'll have nothing to compare to, but I hope it'll be a great three days of geeking out!
There's a simple scheduler on the Oredev site which I've been playing with for way too long to plan my sessions. Most of the tracks have something that I want to go see: definitely sessions from Java, .Net, Excellence, Web, Phone, Architecture, and Agile. I'll probably carry on tweaking a few things but it’s an interesting line-up which makes choosing pretty hard.
The flights and hotel are already booked so I'm good to go. Looking forward to Nov 9th-11th!
