For me, using PDF documents is was always a bit annoying. Adobe Reader just seems to be getting more and more bloated, and as such feels slower and slower with each release. Somewhat unexpectedly perhaps as a document reader, it also seems to be suffering from fairly regular security exploits, so I decided to just uninstall it and be done with it.

However, I do occasionally need to read PDF files, so looking at alternatives, Foxit seemed a relatively popular choice. It was a pretty quick download and install, and I've used it for a few times since where I've needed it and can say it is almost a joy to use. I say almost as reading PDF can only get so exciting. But I've had no problems and it's fast. Simple. That's all I'm asking for.
